For over 20 years, Sister Stan has devoted her life to caring for children the world too often forgets. Children born with physical disabilities or deformities, children cast aside because of superstition, children who would not survive without intervention.
The governmental agency of Ghana stipulates that children over the age of 18 cannot reside with the younger children. Due to the variety and severity of these disabilities, over 60% of her 150 orphans are lovingly considered her “forever children” as they will be in her care for their life span. Therefore, she is now required to build a separate “Forever home” to house these children.
Through Mission appeal donations, Sister has been able to construct the outer perimeter of their new home, yet, many aspects still need to be funded.
Key components required for its completion are; roofing, wiring, plastering, tiling and furnishing. Final costs are being determined.
